Executive & Governing Committee
The College Governing Committee is not yet fully formed. At present it consists of the executive members, who are members by virtue of their office: the Warden, Development Officer and the Executive and Academic Directors.
In addition there are two non-executive members, Leonard Stall and Anne-Marie Piper. We are considering further non-executive appointments, particularly bearing in mind EDI considerations.
Sir Stephen Bubb
Executive Director The Gradel Institute of Charity
Sir Stephen is globally recognised as a leading voice in charity and philanthropy. He has provided advice to governments nationally and internationally.
Peter Frumkin
Academic Director for the Gradel Institute of Charity
Peter Frumkin is the Executive Director for the Gradel Institute of Charity and Academic Director for the Gradel Institute of Charity at New College, University of Oxford and the Heyer Chair in Social Policy and Faculty Director of the Center for Social Impact Strategy.
Miles Young
Miles Young was an undergraduate historian at New College in 1976. Forty years later he returned as the Warden. His business career has been spent in advertising and marketing, most recently as Chairman and CEO of Ogilvy and Mather, a leading global communications network.
Anne-Marie Piper
Anne-Marie Piper is a solicitor specialising in the field of English charity law.
Mark Curtis
Mark is Director of the Development Office at New College, where he is responsible for maintaining and building relationships with Old Members and other friends of the College.
Mari Sako
Mari Sako's main areas of expertise include global strategy, comparative institutional analysis, outsourcing and offshoring, and professional services.
Richard Whittington
Richard Whittington is Professor of Strategic Management and Millman Fellow at New College, University of Oxford.
Leonard Stall
Dr Leonard Stall is the Chairman of Charity Futures – together with New College a co-parent of The Gradel Institute of Charity - and a writer, editor, and businessman now focused on the philanthropic and charity sectors.
